Cherry's Statement of Faith1. GOD has been alive forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever..........and He will always be alive! There is only ONE GOD, but three Persons (the TRINITY): God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is 100% GOD and 100% MAN!

2. od wrote a special book: the BIBLE. He used lots of different people to write it down and it took a long, long time. God's Holy Spirit made sure they wrote down exactly the right stuff. There are no mistakes in the Bible. It is always true, every single word, and it never changes. God told us everything we need to know to be saved from sin and go to heaven, and to live our lives so we make Him happy.

3. God is the CREATOR. In 6 days, He made the world...the sky, the sun, the stars, the moon, the earth, the oceans, lakes, rivers, the birds, the fish, the animals (includin' the bunny rabbits!), and after all that He made the first man (Adam) and woman (Eve) in His very own image. On the 7th day, God rested, and He said His creation was VERY GOOOOOOOOOOOD!

4. God gave Adam and Eve a wonderful place to live (a garden) and good food to eat. He made one simple rule, not to eat the fruit on one of the trees. But they did not obey Him. That is called SIN. Ever since then, every person is born needin' to be saved from this ugly thing called sin.

5. God did somethin' 'bout that sin problem! He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross and take the punishment we deserve. After He died, they buried Him, but on the third day there was a very happy surprise for His friends! He came back to life in the very same body...that's called the RESURRECTION. He showed a bunch of people He was alive again, and then He went back up to heaven.

6. There's nothin' you can do to deserve to go to heaven. Jesus did the whole thing, 100%!! All you need to do is receive His FREE GIFT by believin' and trustin' in Him...that's called FAITH!

7. Jesus is comin' back and we who trust Him 'n love Him will be livin' with Him forever and ever and ever and ever and ever!
